I had never been asked to play the role of auctioneer at a service auction before, so I thought, “What the heck?” In the end, we raised almost 1700 dollars for a family in need by selling off IOU’s such as cooking classes, car washes, free piano lessons, and all-expenses-paid date nights. Go us.
